Référence red

The cuvée « Référence » is a homage to the lyonnaise région by its association with the gastronomy but also by the location of its plots near the Lyon city. Tidily elaborated by a cellar master blend, « Le Lyonnais de Sain Bel » reveal its identity and authenticity

Vineyard :

- Terroir : granit underground, sandy-cleyey soil

- Grape : Gamay

- Location: plots of the whole of our vineyard

Wine harvest :

- Manual and selecting picking of grapes

- Harvest with fully grapes

- Yield : 55 hl / ha

Vinification :

- Concrete tank of small capacity

- Semi-carbonic maceration.

- Fermention of 3 to 5 days.

- Separation of the free run juice and press juice.

- End of fermentation in stainless steel tank with control of temperature.

- Malolactic fermentation searched for a well balance.

- Bottling : At the beginning of the year (February/March)

Tasting notes :

A brilliant and limpid ruby color. A freshness nose with red fruit aromas (cherry, blackberry) which match, in mouth, with a frank attack, silky tannin and an expression of fruity. A well balanced, light wine.
